At the core of the Pick Me Up system is a QR-coded tag assigned to each student, which is given to their parents or guardians for use during pickup. Staff members can swiftly scan these tags with their mobile devices, allowing for real-time identification of linked students. The information is then displayed on a computer or tablet in an organized manner, aligning with the cars waiting in the pickup lane.
